This past weekend was so much fun! Gammie, Aunt Lan and myself took the boys to Dallas. Have you ever been on a road trip where the little people outnumber the big people...well let me just tell you, it was a lot of fun/screaming..hehe.
The plan was to leave for Dallas from our house. We were SUPPOSED to leave at around 8:30 AM. Gammie and Aunt Lan were SUPPOSED to pick us up so we could get on the road and do some shopping on that afternoon. So, the Neff family was up and adam that morning...ready to go at 8:30 on the dot (not a usual occurrence around our house). The phone rings at 8:45 AM. It's Aunt Lan. I ask her were they are. Come to find out, they are still at home (an hour away from my house) and everyone has just woke up. WHAT?!?! Connor, Brady and I had nothing to do, so I took pictures of Connor playing with his toys...boring
Brady liked the hotel bed. He got to sit up and watch TV just like the big boys. We just couldn't resist taking his picture (he's going to kill me later when he sees all the silly pictures I took of him when he was little).
The next morning, we wake up bright and early to go get Pop from the airport. He flies into Dallas to go with us to the Aquarium and to visit with his sisters in Ft. Worth. We had SO much fun at the Aquarium!! The boys loved it. Thank you Pop and Gammie for making it so much fun for them!!
Brady was still a tad bit tired..but the big boys were excited!
Look Mommy!!
They did feed the sharks while we were there. We decided against letting the boys see the sharks eat...we still like to watch "Finding Nemo" and that would be a hard one to explain!
Connor was being a typical two year old and did not want to take his picture with mommy....mommy made him anyway!
After the Aquarium, we decided to go shopping, while Pop stayed with the boys. We got some good stuff. Saturday, we woke up and went to North Richland Hills to visit with my dad's family. It was GREAT to get to see everyone! The boys had fun running around Greg and Sara's house. The rest of us talked and laughed. It was so good to see everyone!
My Aunt Martha, Aunt Rosie and Pop
Jarrett and Aunt Lan
We took my dad to the airport that night (because he can't stay away from work for that long) and we stayed for another couple of days to shop some more.
It was our last trip of the summer..booooo! Leigh Anne and the boys are going back home to South Korea on the 27th....and even BIGGER booooo! I'm bracing myself! I don't know what I'm going to do without her! I've been spoiled this summer because I get to see my sweet nephews every day. I just have to remember that they will be back before I know it. THANK GOODNESS FOR WEBCAMS!!!
Until next time!

I know, I know
Holy Moly!! I almost forgot how to do this! It has been a VERY VERY long time since I blogged! I know some of you have been sending me nasty (yet appreciative) e-mails wanting to see new pictures of Brady and Connor. I'm a bad mommy, a bad friend, a bad daughter....that pretty much covers it..hahahaha. I PROMISE I'll get better at keeping up with this! So here it goes. This is many months of blogging wrapped up into one post...
This summer has been BUSY BUSY. Starting in April, we welcomed Brady Marshall Neff into the family. He weighed 8lbs. 7oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. The labor was short, four hours from start to finish and we both did wonderful.

Two weeks after Brady was born, we FINALLY moved! Yeah! The move was bittersweet. I loved being right around the corner from my parents, but the town we were living in just wasn't a fit for us..so we moved! We love where we are now! We live on an acre, so our backyard is pretty big. Connor can run and run until he gets really tired (which is great for us!) We are closer to shopping, closer to friends, good schools and most of all....closer to RED RAIDER FOOTBALL and our season tickets!! Now we actually get to use them. WOO HOO!!
After waiting nine months to see them again, Leigh Anne, Caleb and Jarrett came to stay the summer with us! They live in South Korea. Your thinkin' "WOW, that is a LONG way away"... and it IS! It is literally on the other side of the globe! My wonderful brother-in-law Johnnie is stationed in Seoul. I say he is wonderful not only because of the person he is, but because he allowed us to borrow his wife and kids for the summer. I am so grateful to call him family!!
Basically this summer we have let the boys run wild with each other, been on vacation to Ruidoso, and hung out as a family. I am very thankful for all the memories we have made this summer. If I were to post all the pictures I have taken, I would probably be kicked off of blogspot, so here are a FEW pictures of our summer.

We are in for another exciting few weeks, so I PROMISE to everyone that I will stay on top of my page!!
