The Fantastic Farm Show

Last week Clay took part in the Amarillo Farm Show. If any of you have never been, this thing is HUGE! It is a farmer's dream. There is every kind of farm gadget, and every kind of farm equipment imaginable. So, for those of you that know my little boy...it was a dream for him as well. We got on EVERY tractor, bull dozer, lawn mower, and sprayer that was at this show. He had a blast! Here are some pictures of the little man's wonderful day.

Post Farm Show our little man was WORN OUT!!

Gammie and Connor had to soak their feet later that night..haha!

WOW!!

I know, I know, I haven't blogged in a LONG time! I've been so busy, this is really the first time I have sat in front of the computer since Halloween.

Clay, Connor and I are doing great. Connor is repeating everything we say, so I have to remind Clay that he is always listening! We had our sonogram on November 18th for our newest edition, and found out it's a BOY!! We are so excited! I can't wait to watch Connor and yet to be named baby boy play outside together. We are really blessed! I promise I will post pictures just as soon as I can figure out what is wrong with our new printer. If it's not one thing it's another around here.

Our house is STILL for sale which is beginning to get a little frustrating. We have a new realtor, so hopefully it will sell soon! We can only trust that God has a plan for us, and right now his plan is for us to be here.

I have Halloween pictures of Connor-Roo, sonogram pictures of the new baby, and Thanksgiving pictures to post. I promise I will post them as soon as I can get this new hunk of junk to work correctly.

Until then...

6 Quirks

Okay, okay...
Here are my 6 Quirks

1. I hate the feeling of flannel. When I was little, my mom had a hard time finding me a suitable sleeping bag.

2. I'm very afraid of miller bugs(moths). Clay thinks it's funny, but I really don't. There is just something about how they fly out of control.

3. If I find a shirt I like, I'll buy it in five different colors just so I can leave the store. I'm not much of a shopper when it comes to buying for myself. I can buy things for other people all day!

4. Right now I'm addicted to pickles. I even drink the juice straight out of the jar. I go through a big jar a week.

5. I can't stand it when people call and don't leave messages. Even though I rarely check my voicemail, it still bugs me. And just to point out how quirky I really am...I rarely leave messages!

6. I'm obsessed with rescuing animals. I want to take home every mistreated or abandoned animal I see!! So if you are one of those people...watch out, I may take your animal!! Clay is obsessed with living in the country. I told him that I would be happy to live in the country if I could open an animal rescue...he has yet to say anything else about it.

I tag Rivers, Allison, and Hudd

That WAS kinda fun!

New Baby Neff

We had our ultrasound on Tuesday the 16th. Everything looks wonderful with the new baby! He/She is right on schedule for the April 7th due date. It is a little to early to tell what the sex of this baby is, so we'll just live in limbo for the time being. If you can tell, one of the pictures has a little something between the legs, but my doctor assured Clay that EVERY baby looks like they have something between their legs at this point. Clay still thinks it's a boy. I don't care one way or another. I have a precious little boy, and another one would be outstanding. If it happens to be a little girl, we would be beside ourselves! Healthy is what we are praying for!!

I go back to the doctor on Tuesday of this week to have more blood drawn. We should schedule my next ultrasound then. Hopefully we will be able to tell what we are having during that ultrasound! We will more later!

Not Much

Not much has been going on in the Neff household...literally. It seems like we have the same schedule everyday! I was desperate for some change in my life so I chopped my hair off last Saturday, WooHoo! Almost FIVE inches. I absolutely love it. It takes about five minutes to fix in the mornings. Clay and mom say I look a lot happier with my hair this length. My comment is, "Did I not look happy before?"

My pregnancy is going great! I haven't gotten sick once, but then again I never got sick with Connor either, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. We go in for another ultrasound on Sept. 16th so I will post pictures then. You can't even tell it's a baby in the first ultrasound pictures, so I have opted not to show him/her off until he/she actually looks like a baby.

I miss my sister very much. It's not the same in this town without her. I used to have someone to do something with EVERYDAY. Now there is really no one here that is my age that I WANT to hang out with. I just miss her and my nephew's. Man, I miss those little guys! Only two more years...AND COUNTING!!

I can't wait to sell our house! I walked outside this morning and there are now TWO houses across the street for sale. Grrreeaattt, that really puts a damper on my plans to move. We're to the point that we are willing to sell it for exactly what we owe. I don't even want to make money on it anymore...I just want out! Oh well, I guess for some reason, God wants us to live here for now. I can't even begin to imagine what that reason is, but I'll leave it in his hands. I guess that's all I can do.

I promise I'll post new pictures later today or tomorrow. The little man just woke up from nap time and it's time to have a snack and play outside!

Weekend at the lake

We had an exciting weekend at the lake. Connor had a blast. He wasn't sure about the murky water at first, but once he saw daddy jet ski he was fine.

Clay and Pop had fun on the jet ski's while Gammie and I played on the beach with Connor. Clay had a little too much fun on his jet ski. He had to be towed back to shore by Pop because evidently when he was trying to be Evil Knievel, he flooded the yellow jet ski. We had a good laugh at daddy. After that incident, we let the poor jet ski rest. Clay took Connor out on the bigger jet ski while mommy freaked out and watched from the beach. He didn't go fast, which was great for me. Connor had so much fun that he didn't want to get off. We had to pry his little hands off of the handles.

We had so much fun. We really did make some memories this weekend!

Woo Woo...Look at that farmer tan

Exciting News!!

Well the Neff family has just received some exciting news! We are expecting another baby to add to our clan at the beginning of April. We are so happy! I know it's really early to find out, but we were so excited, we just couldn't help but tell everyone. I'm feeling great. I never really got sick during my first pregnancy, so I'm hoping this one will be the same. We can't wait to have our first sonogram. It's scheduled for August 19th so I'll post pictures of our little blueberry when I get them.

Connor is doing wonderful..growing like a little weed. He is starting to talk more, and say(or attempt to say) EVERYTHING you say. We really have to watch what we talk about because his little ears are ALWAYS listening. He got to see his cousins tonight on our webcam so he was happy about that! We really miss the Chapples and can't wait for them to come home. My sister is my best friend so you can imagine how hard it is for her to be on the other side of the world...literally!

Well for now, there is not much else to report. I'll keep everyone posted on new baby news, Connor news and of course the Neff family news. Until then!

Follow the crowd

Well I did it. Everyone around me was starting a blog, so I figured what the heck! I might as well follow the crowd...right? Isn't that what our parents always tried to get us NOT to do...haha. Well I'm just getting the hang of this, so be patient with me while I try it out!
