4 months have flown by!

Yes! It has been four months since I've blogged. The Neff's have celebrated Christmas, New Years, Connor's 3rd birthday, my nephew's 4th birthday, Connor's first time to tee-tee on the potty (it sounds like it isn't a big deal, BUT IT IS!), and the Super Bowl. Well those are the landmark events...there has been a lot happen to us in between all that.

So I'll start with Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas! It was Brady's first so that made it extra special. We are truly a family of four, and I LOVE it!

Next we celebrated Connor's birthday is San Antonio. Clay, Connor, Brady and I went to watch our Red Raiders play in the Alamo Bowl. It was lots of fun. Poor Brady had a cold the entire time we were there, but somehow we managed. We took lots of Kleenex everywhere we went! We got to hang out with our amazing friends and family. My Aunt Martha and cousin Carol watched Brady while we took Connor to Sea World for his birthday! It was so much fun! New Years day is the day to go to Sea World...there was hardly ANYONE there. Our good friend Kara went with us to celebrate. I think Kara and I had more fun meeting all the characters than Daddy and Connor did. We took lots of pictures and made lots of memories!

So now Connor is three...whew! (hold back the tears, hold back the tears) Where has time gone?!? Just last week he was learning how to walk and talk, now he runs everywhere and has conversations with everyone he can! AND, now he has a precious little brother he can boss around and yell at. My little man is growing up! He's growing up so much that we are now potty trained! It took us a little while, but we are finally out of diapers COMPLETELY, and wear Pull-Ups and big boy underwear full time (we are still working on nighttime...I found that nights are another adventure!) We had a little trouble at first because he saw his little brother still wearing diapers, and he wanted one...after a couple of days, we got past that! Here I am rambling about potty training, but hey, it's my life!!

Now we're to February, so I'm catching up! My sweet nephew Caleb turned 4 this month. WOW! My sister and her family are still in South Korea, but they will be home in November...I CAN'T FLIPPIN' WAIT!!! I have a countdown on my phone. This month our good friends also became one step closer to becoming parents. The Marshall's are waiting on some paperwork, then they will be an active family awaiting adoption. They need all the prayers you can send them...it has been a long road for them, but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel! AND...yesterday, one of my BFF's Kristen got engaged!! I'm so excited for her...they are really lucky to have found each other! And on a side note, you should SEE this rock!! WOW!! Sooooo that brings us up to date...I think.

I always say I'll be a better blogger, but somehow life gets in the way! I compare blogging to doing laundry...there's always so much to do, but so little time to do it. So I'll try harder to keep everyone up to date...maybe!
